“Former defence minister Mosiuoa Lekota has given the clearest hint yet that he might divorce the ANC, an organisation which he no longer recognised and whose practices he believed had become dangerous to democracy” writes Angela Quintal of IOL Online.
Lekota has written an open letter to the ANC and Jeff Radebe of the ANC answered the letter in the press and he was not very complimentary to Lekota and “his cronies”.
“Remember that the ANC as an institution will stay forever while individuals like yourselves will go.” Radebe said. What is the old adage?: Never say never!
Read the two letters here:

The ANC thinks that they will remain in power for ever in view of the large majority they have in the black vote, but what they do not seem to realise is the fact that these voters are getting more and more disenchanted with the way the ANC is running this country into the ground.
The corruption in high places are not dealt with properly, the crime is escalating and the promises of housing, clean and safe drinking water, electricity for every household and job creation, etc have not materialised, so why must they continue to vote for this administration?
If the splinter group in the ANC break away and forms a new opposition party then the majority voters will be divided and this can cost the ANC dearly.
This together with the death rate amongst the black nation will swing the pendulam against the ANC!

I am finding this continuing ANC saga very interesting. Scary, but interesting.
